I’m confused about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Can you please explain the distinctions between these two versions of WordPress and help me understand which one would be more suitable for my needs?

WordPress.com offers both hosting services and a platform to construct your website, utilizing the WordPress software.
In contrast, WordPress.org doesn’t offer hosting services and should not be considered a platform, despite common misconceptions. It is important to note that WordPress.org serves as a central website hub, providing valuable information, downloads, resources, and fostering a community for users.
WordPress.com do offer both hosting services and platform to construct website but if we wanna use for free it will run their ads and in WordPress.org we can use it for completely free yet no hosting is provided by that.
But if wanna just give a try on hosting we can use XAMPP to host website locally
