You might be having trouble adding photographs to your WordPress website for a number of reasons. Here are a few reasons why this happens and remedies to solve them:
1.WordPress has a default restriction on the largest file size that may be uploaded. You can run into problems if your image is larger than this limit. You may either increase the file size limit in WordPress or decrease the file size of your image to fix this.
2. Images cannot be uploaded if the upload directory or the files on your WordPress installation have the wrong file permissions. Verify that the upload directory, normally located at wp-content/uploads, has the appropriate permissions.
3. PHP settings on your server may restrict the maximum upload size or execution time. You can modify these settings by editing your php.ini file or by using the .htaccess file.
4. Sometimes, conflicts between plugins or themes can interfere with image uploads. Try temporarily disabling any recently installed plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme to see if the issue persists.
