Yes, Plugins are meant to improve the overall optimization and speed of the website giving it an edge , but Not disabling unwanted plugin’s will just lead to addition of huge junk on your web files , which will significantly reduce your website’s speed and it will also increase the size of backup which makes the process heavy on the servers .
