Storing data locally on an Android device can be done using various methods and APIs provided by the Android platform
Internal storage is a private storage space within your app’s sandboxed environment. It’s primarily used for storing private data files accessible only to your app. You can create and write files to the internal storage using classes like FileOutputStream
or BufferedWriter
.
Data can stored by Internal, External storages, Shared Preferences, SQLite DB’s, Cache files in Android.
I suggest to store data by using SQLite Database for Internal. It is easy to use and handle like creating table, inserting values in table, retrieve data from table.
