There are many ways u can perform troubleshooting :
1. Check file size and format: Ensure that the image files you’re trying to upload are in a supported format (such as JPEG, PNG, or GIF) and that they don’t exceed any file size limitations set by your WordPress installation.
2. Clear your browser cache
3. Disable plugins: Temporarily deactivate all your WordPress plugins, as conflicts between plugins can sometimes lead to upload errors.
4. Switch to a default theme: Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-One). This will help determine if the issue is theme-related. If the error goes away with the default theme, there might be a problem with your current theme.
5. Increase PHP memory limit: Insufficient PHP memory limit can cause upload errors. Increase the PHP memory limit
6. Modify the .htaccess file.
7. Check file and folder permissions: Ensure that the WordPress upload folder (`wp-content/uploads/`) has the correct permissions (usually 755 or 777) and that files and directories within it have the proper permissions as well (usually 644 for files and 755 for directories).
